I recently had the pleasure of chatting with three fascinating people who identify outside the gender binary. Jules, Lyndon, and Taffy challenged my preconceptions and broadened my perspectives about gender in the same way that I hope my transsexualism challenges and broadens my cisgendered friends' and relatives' preconceptions and perspectives. Our conversations resulted in an article in the summer 2012 edition of Out In Maine, which can be viewed here. Great job writing Lisa - my friends who saw the article told me that reading it was just like sitting down to chat with me. I have no idea if I added anything - but, loved that a quote about a "buffet" was right under the fat chicks pic! ;)
